How to Delete Your Account
TourGuideNow allows you to delete your account and all associated personal data directly from the mobile application. Follow these steps:
- Open the TourGuideNow App - Launch the mobile application on your device
- Navigate to Profile - Tap on the profile or settings icon (usually located in the bottom navigation or menu)
- Access Settings - Look for "Settings" or "Account Settings" option
- Find Delete Account - Scroll down to find the "Delete Account" or "Delete My Account" button
- Confirm Deletion - Tap the delete button and confirm your request when prompted
- Verify Identity - You may be asked to verify your identity by entering your password or confirming via email
- Permanent Deletion - Once confirmed, your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted from our servers
What Gets Deleted
- Your account profile and login credentials
- Personal information (name, email, phone number)
- Location history and saved locations
- Bookmarks and saved tours
- User preferences and settings
- All activity logs and history
- Payment information (if applicable)
Important Information
- Irreversible: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone
- Data Removal: All personal data is permanently removed from our servers within 30 days
- No Recovery: Once deleted, you cannot recover your account or any associated data
- New Account: You can create a new account with the same email address after deletion
